Man rapes UNILAG student & posts her nude photos on the internet

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old man, Babajide Bashorun, for allegedly kidnapping a female undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Akoka, and raping her.
The police said Bashorun, a dog breeder, did not only rape his victim, he also took snapshot of her nudity, which he allegedly posted on the Internet.
A family source said, “Few days later, the pictures were all over the Internet. The picture had the name and surname of the girl, her university, age, department and course of study. People were stopping her on the campus to tell her they had seen her nude pictures on the Internet.

“The girl’s relations later saw the pictures and urged her parents to report the mater at Adeniji Adele Police Division.” Policemen from the station subsequently arrested Bashorun.
A senior officer from the station, who pleaded anonymity, told our correspondent that the police were still on the trail of two undergraduates of UNILAG.

The duo, identified as Mayowa and Ademuyiwa, both 400 level Architecture students, were accused by the police of complicity in the crime. Detectives from Adeniji Adele Police Station are working on the theory that the pictures were leaked to the Internet through the duo of Mayowa and Ademuyiwa.

Bashorun had said he only sent the snapshots of the girl to Mayowa, who in turn sent them to Ademuyiwa. The dog breeder, who denied beating his victim, said they had been dating for long and he had spent a lot of money on her.

He said, “She is my girlfriend. I wanted to buy ipad for her. I was able to raise about N70,000. She came to my house to collect the money on that day.

“We had argument and I used floor mop to hit her on her back. I now took her pictures. I sent the pictures to my friend, but I didn’t tell him to post the pictures on internet.”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, confirmed the arrest of Bashorun.
She said, “We charged him to court yesterday (Tuesday) . We are still looking for his accomplices who are on the run”

New oil site found in Nigeria offshore

Lagos – Optimum Petroleum Development Limited and its partner Afren Nigeria have announced that the high impact Ogo-1 well located on the OPL 310 licence offshore Nigeria has discovered a significant light oil accumulation, based on the results of drilling and wireline logs.
The Ogo-1 well was drilled by Optimum Petroleum Development Ltd and its partners Afren and Lekoil Limited to a total measured depth of 10,518 ft (10,402 ft true vertical depth subsea), and has encountered a significant gross hydrocarbon column. Further evaluation using wireline log analysis is currently underway prior to extending the well to a total measured depth of 11,800 ft (11,684 ft true vertical depth subsea) to target further high potential zones.  .
Egbert Imomoh, Chairman of Afren, said “The discovery of oil in the Ogo-1 well opens up a new oil basin in an under-explored region and represents a possible extension of the West African Transform Margin. Based on evidence to date, targeted resources are likely to be significantly in excess of previous estimates, with some high-potential zones still to be drilled.  We look forward to working with our Partners to realise the full potential of Ogo and our additional prospects on the license.
The Ogo-1 exploration success follows a series of recent discoveries, Okoro Field Extension, Ebok North Fault Block and Okwok in Nigeria and Simrit-2 and Simrit-3 on the Ain Sifni Block in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.”

Check out Mercy Johnson's N15million Lexus GX 460. visits OJB"

Her husband, Prince Odi Okojie, bought her the SUV a few weeks back. Peep the plate number. Meanwhile Mercy Johnson was spotted at OJB's Gbaja residence this afternoon. Heard she made a generous donation to the ailing music producer but didn't want her photos taken. So our
pap took a photo of her car instead...:-)

Also heard that so far OJB has only been able to raise N3million. Don Jazzy, Ruggedman and Mercy Johnson Okojie are the only well known celebs that have donated so far. Though we heard that P-Square and their brother Jude Okoye are planning to pay him a visit soon. We`re kinda surprised it's taking this long to raise this money. We also heard that the 1.5m donated by 2face is not confirmed. We can't tell his colleagues what to do with their money, but c'mon guys! Something need be done!
