Members disagree over national prayer: Confab

Pastor Adeboye praying

muslims-prayers

The Committee on Religion is set to jettison the second stanza of the National Pledge as prayer, with members expressing divergent opinions as some accepted and others rejected the move.

Oloyede said national anthem serves the purpose of inspiring the citizens towards nationalism while prayer is a communication and relationship between man and God.
In their contributions, two members of the committee, Prof Ishaq Oloyede and Barrister John Achimugu argued against the use of the second stanza of the national pledge as a national prayer at state or national events in the country.
Oloyede stated that in search of a solution to a problem the country should be cautious not to enter into a bigger problem. He further argued that the second stanza of the national pledge was aimed at inspiring the youth and urging the leaders to do what is right for the country, saying that turning it to prayer amounts to using the anthem for non-anthem purposes just as religion is used for non-religious purposes in Nigeria. vanguardngr.com

Onyeka Onwenu expresses reservations on missing girls, calls out Wole Soyinka

Iconic singer Onyeka Onwenu, who is the current DG of National Centre for Women Development,  was a guest on Channels TV Sunrise programme this morning Monday May 12th where she spoke about the missing Chibok girls. She expressed her reservations about the case and also called out Professor Wole Soyinka for referring to the First Lady as 'that woman' in the interview he had with CNN's Christiane Amanpour.
What am saying is that, is it at this time we have to vilify the person of the First Lady who did the right thing by inviting these people? A lot of that has gone on and I take offense at this even as a woman. When I hear someone like Wole Soyinka referring to her on CNN as that woman, something in me boils because there is a lack of respect for women. This has happened not just with this first lady but with every single first lady and perhaps its when they have passed away or when they've left office that we suddenly realize the contributions that they've made and these women work very hard and care and love this country so it really offends me to see her vilified and I was at those meetings and at no point did she say Oh I don't believe the girls were taken." Ms Onwenu said.
For those who can't watch the video, I transcribed it. Find the full interview after the cut...

When asked why we had to wait this long before all of this protest, Ms Onwenu replied;
"Well thank God for the protest. The protest has helped us to focus attention on what is going on. Its so saddening what is happening. I find it difficult to talk about it because I would want to cry and there is a great deal of frustration and anger that this has festered, that's for sure and also that some people are politicizing it. This Boko Haram issue has been politicized for a long time and I think we ought to be careful about that. There should be no name calling at this stage. What this should do for us is to bring us together. Yes mistakes were made along the line, no government is perfect, no people are perfect. We are not but this is a time for us to rally support and come together, lets find these girls. We welcome everyone's contribution that is constructive but if it is not constructive please keep it aside. We don't really need it at this stage."
Asked if there has been any zeal to arrest the situation before now, she responded;
"I think so. When all this started, the government did not come out to speak on the efforts it was making but I don't think any government would come out and give you the nitty-gritty of their operation. That would be giving out too much to the enemy and when the first lady gathered a group of women together in her office, it was out of that frustration of "what is the information" because we were not having enough information at that point about these girls. Number 1. Who are these girls? They must have names. They registered for WAEC, they filled forms. Where are the parents? Its not enough to go to the streets to demonstrate, come let us discuss, lets find solution, lets ask questions? and a number of questions did come up. The Principal, where were you? Were there any supervision for the girls? No Headmistress, No Dorm mistress and how come these girls were left in a situation where there was no light, no generator, no security and they were allowed to spend time in that hostel and also there were boys registered to take their exam in that centre, where were the boys? And why were the girls gathered and left in a situation were no security was provided for them and the agencies say they were not aware that the girls were there. Madam Principal, at what point did you know something was going wrong in your domain and wherever you were, who did you contact? You waited until the following day. So many questions were agitating our minds.Who would provide these information. WAEC said they had the list, they brought out the names of the girls. Ok Madam Principal do you have a list? Oh no its in my hotel and when you get it, there are names of over 60year old people who are on that list! What is going on?
Asked if she was sure about the fact that some people on the list were actually 60 years, she said;
"Yes, Yes and there was a letter written by the Minister of Education asking that the girls in remote areas be brought together in Maiduguri for the exams and since security could not be assured, bring them together. Some of the state Governors did not respond and some said we can provide security and that was not the situation. These letters are there in black and white.
Asked how many girls are missing, she said
"I don't know. I don't know. These are the questions we were asking and I think our government needs to investigate this thoroughly and find out where the disconnect happened because this is a matter of calling up the records. You have the pictures besides  the names and you can identify who are those taking these exams and we have to ask those questions and we have to ask not just the FG. We have to ask the state government, we have to ask the Local Government. At what point did you find out that there was these movements? Who did you tell? And if you contacted the Military or the SSS tell us and why did they not do something. These number of young girls that were taken away were taken in lorries. The lorries were parked in a kilometer and a half away from the school and they had to walked a long distance. Who saw them? What did you do? These are the questions that we ought to be asking. I hope that at the end of the day, all this that is happening because I am a firm believer that all things work together for good. I think this is going to help this country to streamline our security operations, to streamline information gathering, to streamline what we do when there is an emergence. Its also going to expose a lot of things because I believe mistakes were made along the line and those mistakes, some were made by the Federal government but certainly by the state and Local government. And instead of pointing fingers, lets put our heads together and say lets not make the mistakes again.
Asked if the state security officers have explained how the girls were moved considering the state is under 24-hour curfew, she said;
"I am in total agreement with you and I think we need to ask all these questions. What am saying is that, is it at this time we have to vilify the person of the First Lady who did the right thing by inviting these people? A lot of that has gone on and I take offence at this even as a woman. When I hear someone like Wole Soyinka referring to her on CNN as that woman, something in me boils because there is a lack of respect for women. This has happened not just with this first lady but with every single first lady and perhaps its when they have passed away or when they've left office that we suddenly realize the contributions that they have made and these women work very hard and care and love this country so it really offends me to see her vilified and I was at those meetings and at no point did she say Oh I don't believe the girls were taken. What we were doing was fact finding and thank God because most of the information that we do have has come from. Why pick on her and start vilifying her because she is a woman? I think that's wrong because she has done very well and  even for me at some point in the meeting, I just wanted to put away the camera and have myself a cry because that was the mood e were in"

Question: Who are you and where are you from?
Answer: My name is Sheik Sani Haliru. I am from Niger Republic, but my mother is from Bornu State of Nigeria and I grew up inWulari, Maiduguri, (Northern Nigeria) where I was trained.
Q: Trained as what and under whose tutelage?
A: I was trained as an Almajiri, after four years, at the age of 14, I was sent to Kano City, Kano State where I was trained in the Sheik Abubakar Gummi School of Arabic studies.
Q: So you know Sheik Abubakar Gummi?
A: Yes, and I also know his children and obeyed all the teachings he laid down before hedied.
Q: So who tutored you and who is your mentor?
A: Sheik Abubakar Gummi tutoredme. My mentor was Osama bin Laden, and until my conversion from Islam to the Christian faith,my dreams and aspirations in lifewas to do more than Osama bin Laden did before he died on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Q: You said that your mentor was Osama bin Laden. Is he still your mentor?
A: I am now a changed person. The Sheik Sani Haliru is now a new creature, old things have passed away because I now haveJesus Christ that I hated and persecuted for44 years.
Q: Tell me about your past and how many countries of the Worldyou have been to?
A: I cannot tell all about my past because it will take several daysto tell my story and about my conversion experience to Christianity.I have been to eight countries.
Q: Can you please name them?
A: I have been to Sudan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Egypt and of course to my own country Niger Republic.
Q: Where did you receive your training and as what?
A: I received my training in Libya and Pakistan as an Attack Strategist. I was trained along side with some highly placed Nigerians and other foreign Nationals who were marked (he showed me the proof of his mark with a sign) in the form of a sword in the hand to fight andkill for Allah.
Q: Can you give me some of the names of your colleagues with whom you received training in Libya and Pakistan?
A: They are scattered all over the country and we were not too many then.
Q: Just mention but a few names.
A: Ali Baba Nur, Asari Dokubo, Jasper Akinbo, Mohammed Yusuf,Salisu Maigari, Danlami Abubakar,Cletus Okar, Ali Qaqa, Maigari Haliru and Asabe Dantala to mention but a few.
Q: Which of the Asari’s do you mean?
A: The Niger Delta war king. He was a year ahead of me in Benghazi training camp in Libya.
Q: Who financed your training in Libya and Pakistan?
A: You will not believe me and only God will judge the Chief sponsor of terrorism in Nigeria whose name I will not mention because he is so powerful and even the president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, is so much afraid of the man.
Q: If you really know the Christ in you, why are you afraid to tell me thename of the man whosponsored youand the date or approximate period he sponsored you.
A: I am not afraid because he knows me and he cannot deny itif he sees me face to face.
Q: Then tell me, who is this powerful man?
A: The man is no other person than the man they call IBB now as I am talking to you, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida has more than 600 men and women Jihadists who are under his pay role. They are scattered all overthe Country and he (IBB) can use them to destroy Nigeria.
Q: Did you say six hundred?
A: Yes 600 + IBB’s agents of destruction are in the Nigeria Army (NA), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Navy, Air Force, Oil and Gas sectors, even in the finance home such as in top level positions of CBN (Central Bank ofNigeria) and other banks. You find them in politics, in the Senate, National Assembly, in themedia both print and electronic and even in Aso Rock, Abuja (Nigeria’s capital).
Q: How do you mean by this statement “and even in the finance…”?
A: Yes, I mean every word I say; eventhe Islamic bank champion was planted by IBB to help in Islamizing Nigeria.
Q: So how can you describe IBB?
A: IBB is a “green snake” in green grass. He is the main problem of Nigeria along with members of the Cabal.
Q: Have you forwarded any of these evidence(s) to Aso Rock orto SSS (State Security Services)?
A: I attempted to do so a few weeks ago and I was arrested and detained for two days because IBB’S men are so many in SSS (State Security Services) as well. After I was released by the grace of God, they (the Police) warned me never to blowup the polity or provoke violence and I should keep my so-called-born-again with me or elseI will go to jail.
Q: So you were a key member and a registered jihadist hardliner.
A: Yes, I was.
Q: Under what group?
A: I was a Boko Haramist. But Boko Haram is just a cover nameto give it a name. I have my identity as a founding member ofthe dreaded jama’aful Ahlul sunna wal Liddawati wal Jihad, aka Boko Haram.
Q: Apart from IBB, who are the other top sponsors of terrorism in this country?
A: They are many, but IBB is the major financier. He introduced the suicide bombing that startedwhen he killed Dele Giwa. I have the names of six traditional rulers and seven present & ex-Governors as wellas several top military and security officerswho are co-sponsoring the socalled Boko Haram. That apart,I have documented evidences to provethat General Mohammadu Buhari, Alhaji Abubaka Atiku and other top politicians and traditional rulers are some of the people behind Boko Haram. Very soon, nemesis will catch up with them.
Q: What if I use my influence to guarantee you safety, can you brief the press to expose IBB (General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida) with all these documents that I am seeing withyou right now.
A: Only God can guarantee my safety. He did so on that fateful day when the SSS and police wanted to secretlykill me because of what I unveiled. I would have been a dead man by now if not for a man of God whocame as an “Angel” to quietly free me. Right now, I am wanted dead or alive by IBB and his agents of destruction in high places. The SSS are busy huntingfor me up & down and arrestingand torturing innocent people because of me.
Q: What if I connect you to a man of God by the name of Brother Mike Ejiofor, who is a lawyer, a professional negotiatorand a mediator who was the Director of SSS until October 2010?
A: I only wish to be connected toGod.
Q: So how can you describe this country?
A: Nigeria is sifting under an Islamic barbaric bomb (IBB). Only God can rescue this nation because 75% of Christians are prayer less. Why? Because they are in their own comfort zone. They do not know what the Christians in Northern Nigeria are passing through and theyignorantly are thinking thatthe Allahof the Muslims is the same as the Godof Christians in the Holy Bible who says: “Thou shalt not kill”.
Q: What does the Qur’an say about Islam being referred to asa religion of peace by numerous Muslim scholars?
A: Let me tell you in a very clearlanguage that Islam is not a religion of peace, but it is of violence, of killers and fighters as already stated in their so called “Holy” Qur’an which I ignorantly followed all these years when I was spiritually blinded as a Muslim.
Q: Can you prove these statements from the Qur’an?
A: [Sani Haliru, who is now knownas Solomon Haliru (Paul Haliru’s brother)] brought out two copies of the original Qur’an in the Arabic & English translation. He gave me one, and told me to open the book to Surah Al- baqarah chapter 2 vs 216. Itsays, “Holy fighting is ordained (prescribed) for all muslims, whether they like it or not, as far as it is good and approved by Allah through his prophet Mohammed.”
Q: Where is it in the Qur’an that killing is also permitted by Allah?
A: Look at Surah Al-baqarah chapter 2 vs 191 “And kill them wherever youfind them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. An Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them at Al-Masjid-Al-Haram (the sanctuary at Makkah), unless they (first) fight you there. Butifthey attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.” Muslims are told tokill and fight in the cause of Allah.
Q: Does it mean that IBB and all these Muslim traditional rulers and Governors that are sponsoring Boko Haram to kill Christians and burn our churchesin the North are not aware of the passage in the Qur’an that saysthere must not be compulsion in Islam as Mohammadu Buhari asserted in awidely publicized interview on Saturday, the 21st of April, 2011?
A: I have worked so closely with Mohammadu Buahri for five years, and I can prove it that General Buhariis the most notable outspoken jihadist hardliner in Nigeria who is also strategically sponsoring Boko Haram.
Q: General Buhari told a group ofpressmen in April 2011 that there is no compulsion in Islam and it is a religion of peace. He quoted Surah Al-Baqarah Chapter 2:225. What can you sayto that?
A: What I can say to that is General Buhari, like all other true Muslims, is a hypocrite who is shying away from the fact.
Q: How do you mean by saying that most Muslim millionaires andhighly placed Muslims are “pretenders and shying away from the fact”?
A: What I mean is that they (Muslims-both rich and poor) aretold to use their position of wealth (or otherwise) to promote Islam or else they will face destruction from Allah.
Q: Where can you find this in theQu’ran?
A: Open Surah Al-Baqarah Chapter 2:195, it is written herethat you must use your wealth to champion Jihad of all kinds or else destruction is waiting for such a person on the last day.
“And spend in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad of all kinds) and do notthrow yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause ofAllah), and do good. Truly, Allahloves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers).”
Q: Have you ever been detained or arrested?
A: Nobody could arrest me until the year 2009 soon after my immediate boss Mohammed Yusufwas killed. About 23 of us were arrested in one of our hideouts in Bauchi. But when Governor IsaYagiuda heard about it, he immediately arranged for me to be free. Even before his official broadcast in 2010 that he was using his position as the executive Governor of Bauchi State (Northern Nigeria) to free 28 prisoners from Bauchi CentralPrison, I was already afree man along with several of my colleagues.
Q: Now can you tell me some of the horrible crimes that you committed and how you got born again and became converted.
A: Old things have passed away and Idon’t want to talk about the past, because like Apostle Paul said, we need to press forward in Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
Q: Just mention a few to assist some of us who are making efforts to unravel the mystery of the menace called Boko Haramwhich you have renounced.
A: I took part in the Kaduna riot of 1992 and in several northern states of Nigeria, but the state Ioperated more from was Bornu (northern Nigeria) where I was the State Commander/Chief Strategist.
Q: So as Chief Attack Strategist, what crimes have or did you commit before you renounced the deadly sect?
A: In the early months of May 1986, I was among the 36 Jihadist hardliners, who went on a rampage to attack Christian students of the University of Sokoto (Sokoto State in northern Nigeria). In that same week, the Federal Government of Nigeria under the brutal leadership of IBB mobilized us andprovided some military vans and Army uniforms which our men used and started killing innocentand defenseless Christians all over the Northern states. I and the son of the Emir of Kano, whois now a Christian by name Rev. Paul Ado Bayero, were among the Muslim fanatics who razed down the sculpture of Jesus at the University of Ibadan (Oyo State inwestern Nigeria).
The following year, March 5, 1987 to be very precise, the “Evil Genius” General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida secretly armed us throughone of his close aids by the name of Captain Hassan Abubakar (now aPastor with a fast growing church in Lagos). We went to go and kill some targeted Christiansincluding Rev. Nuhu Kure (Throneroom founder) after the destruction we committed at theCollege of Education in Kafanchan, Kaduna State (North Central Nigeria). And of recent, I was the leader of the team of soldiers of Allah that destroyed Church buildingsand properties inBornu State (northern Nigeria).
Q: Can you name some of the buildings and Churches you and your Boko Haramists destroyed?
A: There are many, but our maintargets which we succeeded in destroying included: Goodnews &ECWA Church, Damboa Road, Maiduguri E.Y.N.L.C.C. Wulari, NationalEvangelical Mission Inc. Divisional Headquarters Wulari, Elijah ApostolicChrist Church, OkeAyo Celestial Church of Christ, Deeper Life Bible Church, the Lord’s Chosen and six others in Railway Area and all over Wulari in Maiduguri, Borno State. Other church buildings we destroyed and looted include the Aposotic Church, COCIN Church, EvangelicalChurch/Mission Headquarters, Anglican Church, Baptist Church/Mission, Redeemed Christian Church of God, El-Shaddai Parish, Watchman Charismatic and several others.
Q: Where were the security officers when you were destroying all these church buildings and killing Christians?
A: Since 1985 when General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB)started using us to persecute Christians, the Nigerian Army hasbeen an extensionor shall I say an arm of the Muslims agenda toIslamize Nigeria. Wherever they go to attack Christians, the Muslims in the top military positions give the cover by providing the logistics. Since the day of Babangida (1985) Christians sufferviolence. This is the time that we must attack them and take what belongs to us by force.
Q: You don’t seem to like IBB andyoutalk so much of his evil deeds. Are you the only one he used or is there more revelationwe can investigate or ascertain further?
A: Babangida is the most wicked and heartless man I have ever seen or worked with. He used many Muslim fanatics (Most of who are now Christians) to commit a lot of atrocities. For example, he used Alhaji Sannusi Dasuki (now Solomon Dasuki), Alhaji Ahmed Ado Bayero (now Rev. Paul Ado Bayero), Alhaji Mohammed Usman (now Evangelist Blessed Usman), Alhaji Sani Jegga (now Isaac Jegga) to attack the following men of God: Late Papa Idahosa, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Rev. Uma Ukpai, Rev. O. Ezekiel and other men of God. He used some of thepeople whose names mentioned above to burn down several million copies of the Holy Bible. Along with the late MKO Abiola, they both sponsored the sinkingof three million copies of the Holy Bible into the high sea.
Q: With all these revelations, can’t IBB be arrested and charged to court?
A: Who will arrest him? Is it Goodluckor who? Even when we provided the proofs to them that IBB killed Dele Giwa and thathe sponsored the burning and looting of the Jos main market (Terminus) and also planted the seed of the present crises in Plateau State in 1991, they refused to arrest him because he is very cunning in his evil ways. He leaves notrace of his evil deeds, but nemesis will soon catch up with him because the sardonic spirit in him will soon expire.
Q: In a simple language, how can youdescribe IBB?
A: Ibrahim Babangida is a wicked and heartless man. As a military officer he was very brutal and as a politician he is very selfish and tricky. He better repent and confess his numerous sins and wickedness before it will be too late.
Q: Can you prove to the readersthat fighting and killing in the name of Allah is justified in the Holy Qur’an?
A: I can site more than 28 passages from the Holy Qur’an where fighting and killing is justified as approved in the cause and for the sake of Allah. Please turn to the Qur’an (it goes from the back to the front) and see the book Surah At-Taubah Chapter 9:29 “Fight against those who believe not inAllah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and those who acknowledge not the religion oftruth (i.e Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” In this passage, every true Muslim(s) is specifically instructed to fight against four (4) groups of people especially the Jews and Christians.
Q: So what is the meaning of Jizyah and how was the name coined?
A: From the footnote as you cansee in the Qur’an, Jizyah is a taxlevied against the people of the scriptures (i.e. the Christians) who are under the Islamic government. Jizyah was coined out after the Jaiz bank that theMuslims are wanting to use to take over the financial world viaIslamic Banking.
Q: Are you saying indirectly that Islam is not a religion of peace asmost Muslims will want us to believe?
A: I am saying it directly not indirectly that Islam is a religion of violence It is a religion of force. More than 95% of Nigerianjournalists and people of the world are ignorant of what the Qur’an teaches and/or says about Islam and violence.
Q: How do you mean?
A: Open the Qur’an to Surah Muhammad Chapter 47:4. In this verypassage, Muslims are commanded byAllah to kill and smite the neck of anyone who does not accept the teaching of Islam, and according to the satanic verses they (Muslims) would be helping Allah by so doing.
I quote exactly as it is written inthe Muslims Holy Qur’an: “So, when you meet (in fight-Jihad in Allah’s Cause) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks tillwhen you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free from them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war laysdown its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad againstthe disbelievers till they embrace Islam and are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah’s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight) in order to test some of you with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.”
Q: So is that why all Muslims are indirectly supporting Boko Haram?
A: Yes, Boko Haram is just a name coined by satan to Islamizethe world. That is why every true Muslim is directly and indirectly supporting Boko Haram.
Q: Can you explain further?
A: In Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195, thewealthy Muslims and all those in high position of authority such as IBB,Buhari, Atiku, Isa Yaguda, etc. are told to use their wealthand any position they find themselves in to promote Islam and the cause of jihadof all kindsor else they will face destructionfrom Allah.
Q: Is that how the suicide bombers come into the picture?
A: Yes,
Q: My readers will like to know from the Qur’an if Islam is the zenith of wickedness as you earlier said.
A: In the Qur’an Allah commandedthus “(Remember) when your Lord revealed to the angels, Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingersand toes.” (See the Qur’an of Surah Al-Anfal 8:12)
Q: So you did accordingly?
A: Yes! Satan used Buhari and Tunde Bakare, the false prophet, to smite the necks andchop off the fingers and toes of several Christians in Zaira, Maiduguri, Bauchi and several other places.
Q: Which passages say that the Christians are enemies of the Muslims? Some ignorant Christianleaders and pressmen are of theopinion that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
A: Christians and journalists (about 95%) are very ignorant. Let them search the original Qur’an (The NobleQur’an). The more the Muslim leaderstry to block the original Qur’an from circulation, the more the lie spreads that we’re serving the same God. That is why the Lord says “I will buildmy church; and the gates of (hades) hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18
Q: Mention another satanic versethat makes every true Muslim(s)to hate Christians.
A: In addition to the several passages and mentioned earlier, please take a look at Surah An-Nisa 4:101 and I quote “For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies.”
Q: What is the solution to this problem of the Boko Haram menace?
A: The problem is not Boko Haram. The problem is the Spirit of Islam which must be crushed by the prayer of the Saints. Wasit not through prayer that people like Rev. Paul AdoBayero, Bishop K. K. Degaya, Apostle Johnson Suleman and hundreds of others got saved? Was it not through prayer that I got savedon my way to assassinate both Rev. Samuel Dasuki and Evangelist Blessed Usman when they were in their training campin a crusade/ministration to theirconverts? I tell you from my experience this past few monthsas aChristian, many Christians are not united. In the north Christians are more united and sincere, but in the south & west, Christians are in comfort zones and if they don’t wakeup, they will be surprised of what Muslims will do to them.
Q: What can Muslims do in Warri, PortHarcourt and other southern and western zones?
A: Look let me tell you one top secret. Before I repented, an average of 2,500 Muslim fanaticscame to Delta State every month, 2,000 to the Eastern states and 2,000 to Cross River State and 2,500 to other zones. All of these Muslim fanatics weresent in preparation of the holy war (Jihad).
Q: Where are they camped?
A: In various Mosques and Islamic training schools which they use as training camps at odd hours (—for security reasons, the author/interviewer have decidednotto publish the other details of this answer in print).
Q: What advice do you have for Christians in the comfort zones?
A: Pray for our Christian brethren in the north. Secondly, stop giving your ladies to Muslims. Thirdly, do no sell your land to a Muslim any longer. Fourth, do not employ them as security men. Fifth, beware of what they do with your finger nails and hair. Finally, watch them carefully and be very prayerful because Nigeria is sitting on an Islamic barbaric bomb (IBB) and the Muslims are prepared to fight you in your backyard.
Q: Any advice for the president?
A: They are desperate to get him/his family by kidnap/killing them, not only by Spiritual means, but through some well trained security men who he think can never disappoint him. About six suicide bombers are in the presidency and one of them is a student from NDA-Nigerian Defence Academy (other details Iam keepingfor security reasons).
Q: Do you know anything about bombing?
A: In answer to this question, I shall give you a top secret document which is supposed to be for only committed Muslims which I smuggled out and gave to some Christian leaders in the south.
Q: But tell me a little of how they got the knowledge to manufacture a bomb? Who sponsored your people to do these wicked acts?
A: We were sponsored by the man they call IBB and some top Muslims within and outside the country. We also worked hand inhand with Al Qaeda. As far back as 12th of June, 2011 when I got converted to Christianity, I gave several documents to Police and SSS. They arrested and detained me. But the Holy Spirit released me the same daythat they wanted to kill me secretly by poisoning.
Q: What secrets did you give them?
A: I told them that the Muslims are using trailer and vehicles in military colour and are escorted by northern soldiers to smuggle weapons to various mosques andIslamic trainingschools in Aba, Onitsha, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Calabar, Sapele, Warri, Ebonyi and Enugu States, etc.
Q: What about the bomb manufacturers?
A: I told them that the Traditional Rulers in the northern part of Nigeria and many state governors in the farnorth are sponsoring Boko Haram. I told them that I was paid a deposit of 5 million Naira to go and bomb NDA in the month of August 2011 when they will be planning the graduation that just took place where I would have driven straight to the Commander’s Office with a covering letter from a Garrison Officer commander whose name I gave to the police and who is a close relative to IBB.
Q: Did you give the name of the bomb location where the trainingis going on?
A: Yes, I gave them and told them where they were training 65 new Islamic Youths in two bomb factories in Bauchi, Bornu and Niger states andalso the bomb factory at Hanyan Nassarawa Iku, Niger State.
Q: Any more revelation?
A: Yes, I gave them many bomb factories even in the southern and eastern states and seven inKaduna State, Plateau State andAbuja. It was in the Niger State bomb factory that we manufactured the improvised explosive devices that was used to operate in Abuja on October 1, 2010.
Q: Did the police take immediate action?
A: The news leaked to IBB immediately and he immediately instructed his ground soldiers torelocate the bombs. The Police and SSS were afraid to search some of the mosques because the presidency must be aware that by so doing, the country Will explode into a religious war between Christians and Muslims. That is why I said Nigeria is sitting on Islamic time bomb or shall I say Islamic Barbaric Bomb.

Welcome to world famous Chibok, home of over 250 abducted schoolgirls

Chibok has no access road, and residents had long feared militant may attack cars slowed by the dilapidated road
Before the heinous attack of Monday the April 14, in which over 250 secondary schools girls were taken captives by Boko Haram militants, only a handful of Nigerians outside of Borno State knew or ever heard of Chibok, a small town in the northeast state.
But three weeks after the raid that shocked the world, Chibok, a laidback town southeast of Maiduguri, Borno State capital, has lost all of its seeming solitude and now sits at the centre of a growing global spotlight, catapulted there by an atrocious crime the world has risen to condemn.
As attention focuses on the abducted girls, it has also helped frame the narrative of a town and its people so deprived and tucked far off, almost from the Nigerian civilisation.
According to the 2006 population census, Chibok Local Government Area has a population of 66,105 people spread across an area of about 1,350 km².
For a start, there is no road access to Chibok- no single asphalted road in the entire local council area. Traveling to Chibok is like groping in the dark, drivers often say, as they and other commuters often have to meander through contoured earth-road that could best be described as footpath or cattle route.
One government driver quite conversant with the area said “It has always been like this since 1970’s when I started as a government driver; each time we are told to get set for a trip to Chibok, it was like being told to get set for a trip to hell”.
A federal highway leading to the town has remained unattended to for years. The construction of the 20 kilometre Damboa-Chibok-Mbala road was approved in September 2009, and was to cost N1.24 billion.
That decision came after previous governments planned and failed to build the road. Ali Ndume, a senator, who was then a House of Reps member representing Gwoza, Damboa, Chibok federal constituency, claimed the 2009 contract was his achievement.
In 2013, the Borno state government included Mbala-Chibok-Damboa road amongst the 2500km roads that will link 33 towns in the state. The so-called government’s “comprehensive master plan” for rural roads was to gulp a total of N36 billion.
A few earthmoving equipment deployed to the road, still lie in its dirt, but nothing more has been done by the authorities.
A home to some of Borno State’s brightest and most outstanding public servants- at state and federal level- Chibok local government has remained one of the most obscured in the troubled northeast state.
But something is unique about Chibok. It is one of the most homogenous communities in the state where the people only share a single language (Chibok). Also, the local government has an exceptionally large Christian majority population of nearly 90 percent, amongst the highest in the Muslim-dominated state.
Government Secondary School, Chibok, where more than 250 girls were abducted by the Boko Haram militants is the only secondary school in the entire local government – a situation not uncommon in other parts of the state.
The school was first established in the mid-1970s as Women Teachers College which was to serve the people of Chibok, Damboa, Askira, Uba, Ashigir, Azir and even Gwoza. The locals of Chibok had to fight it out during that period when an attempt was made by the then government to move the school to Azir, a village in present day Damboa local government area.
In 1988, following the relaxed education policy on teachers colleges, the school was converted to a Government Girls Secondary School. At that time, some of the local government areas like Askira-Uba, Damboa and Gwoza had similar secondary institutions. So the new GGSS, Chibok now served as catchment centre for students from Chibok council area and those in Askira-Uba and Damboa councils whose villages are closer to Chibok town.
In 2011, due to the lack of any other secondary school in the entire local government, which often compelled parents to send their male wards to distant schools, the state ministry of education upgraded the school to a mixed institution, where both boys and girls are allowed to study together.
“The boys are on permanent day-students arrangement, while the girls still maintain their boarding school culture; only those that are from the Chibok town are at the liberty of choosing to come from their homes,” said a teacher who asked not to be named.
The school’s relatively high population is explained by its being used by the entire local government, the staff said.
“It is not usually common to have more than 100 or 200 students sitting for exams in a single school in other parts of the state; but here we have about 530 students that sat in the last exams, and more than 70 percent of them are girls”, the teacher added.
Though there are a handful of Muslims in Chibok town, there is no record of a religious conflict there. “It has always been a one-big-family affair for us; because we are all related,” a resident said.
Unlike most of the tribes in southern Borno which are purely non-Kanuri speaking- except those in Damboa whose language has a mixed grill of Kanuri and Marghi language-, the people of Chibok share a chieftaincy tradition that is purely like those of the Kanuri. In fact, Chibok, unlike other emirates and chiefdoms of Southern Borno, is still under neo-colonial control of Borno Emirate. Its District and Village heads answer the title “Mai”, while the princes there are called “Maina”, just like the Kanuri Royal Households of Borno, Dikwa and Bama do.
Despite the proximity of the local government area to the dreaded Sambisa forest, where Boko Haram is believed to have its main operational base, attacks never occurred in Chibok until April 14.
“We have hosted people from Damboa and Izge who had to run here to take refuge after Boko Haram attacked their villages; we have not recorded any incident until the recent attack on our town and the Secondary school; it was indeed a shocking experience to us because we never expected it,” a resident, who identified himself as Amos, said.
Still, with the relative peace, apprehension about the likelihood of a future attack was rife in the community, and that fear was with the dilapidated road leading into Chibok.
Locals had worried that with the abysmal nature of the road- which ensures cars do not go beyond about 20km per hour- the thick forest by the sides of the road could serve as a hideout for insurgents who could easily spring on slow-moving vehicles.
The attack of Monday, April 14, 2014, barely took that form, according to the various accounts that have emerged. But somehow, it was the manifestation of what the community had long dreaded. SOURCE

FG rejects Boko Haram prisoner swap for hostage schoolgirls

The federal government on Monday rejected conditions set out by Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau for the release of more than 200 schoolgirls held hostage by the Islamists.

Asked if the government would reject the suggestion by Shekau in a new video that the girls may be released once Nigeria frees all militant prisoners, Interior Minister Abba Moro told AFP: “Of course.”

“The issue in question is not about Boko Haram… giving conditions,” he said.

Shekau made the claim in a video obtained by AFP on Monday claiming to show about 130 of the 276 girls abducted from their school in the remote northeastern town of Chibok, in Borno state, on April 14.

“We will never release them (the girls) until after you release our brethren,” he said.

The militant leader, who has made prisoner exchange demands before, said that some of the teenagers had converted from Christianity to Islam.

The International Crisis Group said in a report published last month that Boko Haram had written an open letter in 2011 to the governor of northern Kano state, demanding the release of detainees.

Shekau repeated the demand in a video released last week claiming responsibility for the mass kidnapping that has sparked global condemnation and calls for action.

Nigeria’s military has been accused of rounding up thousands of Boko Haram suspects, including women and children, and holding them in atrocious conditions that have been criticised by rights groups.

On March 14, Boko Haram fighters stormed the notorious Giwa military barracks in the state capital of Borno, Maiduguri, freeing hundreds of militants.

Amnesty International, however, said on March 31 that there was “credible evidence” that more than 600 people, most of them unarmed recaptured detainees, were summarily killed in the military response. SOURCE

Why I Cut Off My Own Penis: Rapper Tells Bizarre Tale (PICTURED)

Why I Cut Off My Own Penis: Rapper Tells Bizarre Tale (PICTURED)
The Los Angeles rapper who sliced off his own genitalia before jumping out of a window has broken his silence about the ugly incident last month, saying depression drove him to do it.
Andre Johnson – who performs under the stage name Christ Bearer with the Wu-Tang affiliated group Northstar – was reported to have been high on dangerous psychedelic PCP when he cut off his penis and leaped from a two-storey baclony in North Hollywood.
But the 40-year-old, also known as C.B., has now told TMZ that he was smoking weed and reading a book about monks and vasectomies right before the self-castration.
He said he felt his ‘world was collapsing’ after being prevent from seeing his two daughters due to a restraining order, and that he had a third child on the way.

TMZ also reported that Johnson’s member was able to be reattached by doctors.
While he claims he will be able to regain full functionality, having more children will likely not be possible.
The incident occurred at an apartment compex about 1am on Wednesday April 16.
Police classified the case as an attempted suicide.
Friends within the building said Johnson managed the mutilation quickly before running and jumping over the ledge.
However E! Online reported that the rapper cut off the tip of his penis first, then removed his testicles and the remainder of his genitalia.
E! also said Johnson was under the influence of PCP at the time, which also goes by names Phencyclidine or Angel Dust.

When people from the building ran downstairs to see if Johnson had survived the fall, they said he was already on his feet screaming.
He was found in critical condition before he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The organs were recovered upstairs.
Neighbors initially said Johnson did not seem to be under the effect of hard drugs.
It was also reported that doctors were unable to reattach his penis.

Northstar is described on the Wu-Tang website as a duo from the north side of Long Beach who have produced songs warning of the dangers of drugs and saluting their own Muslim beliefs.
In 1998, they were discovered by Wu-Tang member RZA, who produced some of their albums.
As Johnson’s unfortunate incident hit headlines, RAZA moved to distance himself for the rap duo, releasing a statement he has had nothing to do with them for 10 years.
PCP is a ‘dissociative drug’ meaning that it distorts perceptions of sight and sound and produces feelings of detachment from the environment and self.
First introduced as a street drug in the 1960s, PCP – which comes in crystal form but is often smoked with a herb like mint or marijuana -  quickly gained a reputation as a drug that could cause bad reactions and was not worth the risk.

However, some abusers continue to use PCP due to the feelings of strength, power, and invulnerability as well as a numbing effect on the mind that PCP can induce. SOURCE

The set-up may seem peculiar, but it is tradition in the small village near Dehradun, Northern India, for women to also marry the brothers of their first husband.
She told the Sun: ‘Initially it felt a bit awkward. ‘But I don’t favour one over the other.’
Rajo and first husband Guddu wed in an arranged Hindu marriage four years ago.
Since then she has married Baiju, 32, Sant Ram, 28, Gopal, 26, and Dinesh, 19 – the latest in the line of husbands – who married her as soon as he turned 18.
‘We all have sex with her but I’m not jealous,’ first husband Guddu – who remains the only official spouse – said. ‘We’re one big happy family.’
Rajo said she knew she was expected to accept all of her husbands, as her own mother had also been married to three brothers.
She said they sleep together in turn, but that they do not have beds, just ‘lots of blankets on the floor’.
She added: ‘I get a lot more attention and love than most wives.’

POLYANDRY: AN ANCIENT TRADITION

The practice of polyandry is believed to stem from the tale of Mahabharata, the ancient Indian epic.
The text, one of the cornerstones of Indian culture, sees Draupadi, daughter of the King of Pancha being married to five brothers.
It is not legal, but in its most common form – whereby women in polyandrous relationships marry more than one man from the same family – it is permitted.
It tends to be practised in male dominated villages, who still follow primitive rituals and customs. Brothers who refuse the union are often treated as outcasts.
In polyandrous families, the woman often cannot say which of her husbands fathered which children.
Recently, there have been instances of DNA testing, to solve inheritance disputes.

The ancient Hindu tradition of polyandry was once widely practiced in India, but is now only observed by a minority.
It sees a woman take more than one husband, typically in areas which are male dominated.
In fraternal polyandry the woman is expected to marry each of her original husband’s brothers.
It is thought to have arisen from the popular Sanskrit epic of Mahabharatha, which sees Draupadi, daughter of the King of Pancha being married to five brothers.
The practice is also believed to be a way of keeping farming land in the family.
It is most commonly found near the Himalayas in the north of the country, as well as in the mountainous nation of Tibet.
While the advance of modernity has seen the archaic practice largely die out in most areas, the shortage of women in countries such as China and India has helped keep it alive as a solution to young men’s difficulties in finding a wife.

Boko Haram to be stamped out in three months – Northern Governors

“The 19 governors that make up this forum would continue to condemn the invasion of the north and we are happy with the Federal Government.
The Northern States Governors Forum, NSGF, on Saturday declared support for the assistance offered Nigeria by the U.S. and other countries in the rescue efforts of the over 250 girls kidnapped from Chibok, Borno State. The forum also said all elements of the Boko Haram terrorists group would be stamped out within three months.

Governor Babangida Aliyu, Chairman of the Forum, said these in an address at a joint Northern States Governors/United States investors’ summit held in Abuja. “Contrary to insinuations that leaders in the region failed to openly condemn the rascality of the terrorists, we have instead worked subtly to see to the end of the insurgents. “The coming of the United States’ army to rescue the abducted Chibok school girls was as a result of the meeting the northern governors held with the American Government. “The 19 governors that make up this forum would continue to condemn the invasion of the north and we are happy with the Federal Government. “The group is equally happy with United States, Britain, France, China and Canada which have offered support to tackle the insurgents,’’ he said.

Meanwhile, a communiqué issued at the end of the summit, said the summit was organised to accelerate the socioeconomic development of the north and the country as a whole. It said that the symposium organised by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and NSGF between March 17 and March 19 in Washington laid the foundation for the summit and partnership with investors. The communiqué, which was signed Governor Aliyu, said strengthening relations between the entire northern governors through the summit was the right recipe for the development of the area.

“The summit addresses the issues of concern to the people of the region, and particularly the challenges faced by some states presently plagued by poverty, youth unemployment and insurgency.
“It seeks to act as vehicle through which the NSGF attracts partnership with the international investment community and aid agencies to assist in rebuilding, reconstructing and rehabilitating the north,’’ it said.
According to the communiqué, the courage and confidence reposed in the region in the face of enormous insecurity challenges in the country was well-known.

It said the summit would complement the gains of the just concluded World Economic Forum, WEF, for Africa and the far reaching initiatives of the Federal Government to develop the country.
It, called on all investors to have confidence in the opportunities that abound in the region, adding that the deficit found in region should be a motivating factor to invest.

The summit was organised by NSGF in conjunction with the Nigerian Embassy in Washington.
General Electric (GE), Brambles, USAID, Milhouse Engineering, Manchester Trade, World Bank, Blumber Grains and African World Export were some of the companies that attended the summit.

All the 19 governors made presentations highlighting areas of respective states’ potentials and available opportunities for investors to note.
