Justice For Trayvon! Watch This Old Man Keep It Real When Discussing Trayvon Martin (VIDEO)

"I don't care who is right, who is wrong...you should have left the goddamn gun at home!"
Those are the words from an older gentleman on YouTube (lets call him Angry Grandpa) on the Trayvon Martin shooting. And he isn't shy about telling the world his opinion of George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who murdered the 17-year-old teenager.
In other words...he keeps it all the way real.
"You're on crime watch you're not a goddamn cop!"
Warning: you might want to turn your volume down a few notches, because Angry Grandpa is mad. Really, really mad.
See Grandpa's commentary above.

No man can intimidate me – Ekwunife

Uche Ekwunife acknowledging cheers from supporters
Mrs. Uche Ekwunife is a two -term member of the House of Representatives for Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia federal constituency. She contested for the governorship seat of Anambra State in 2010 on the platform of Peoples Progressives Alliance, PPA.  In this interview, Ekwunife spoke on her governorship ambition, the crisis in her party, APGA among other issues Excerpts.

Are you going to contest the governorship election?
This is to tell my brothers and sisters in Anambra State that I am contesting for that position in the election. I also wish to state that I am not just coming out to join the bandwagon of those who say that they are contesting, but that I am fully prepared and ready to contest as a person who is contesting to win by the special grace of God.

Your party, APGA, is in crisis. Don’t you see this as an impediment?
I know you are talking about the disagreements in our party. This is normal in any political organization and it is an ingredient of democratic process. In politics there are bound to be litigations and there could also be controversies. Though APGA is a minority party in Nigeria, it is however the leading and majority party in Anambra State.

I am sure that you are aware of the court matters about APGA leadership and what the Enugu Appeal Court said about the High Court judgment against Sir Victor Umeh. Going by that, Victor Umeh is still recognized as the National Chairman of APGA.

Issues at the high court
We still have issues at the High Court, the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court over the matter. But at the moment Victor Umeh remains the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance and that is where I belong, unless something else happens legally. Besides, the Appeal Court position on the matter remains substantive until it is reversed.

Don’t you see the fact that you are from the same local government area with the outgoing governor, (Anaocha) as a challenge?

Anambra State is a unique state. Our people are highly politically aware and cannot be misled. What the people of Anambra State want is good governance irrespective of where the person comes from. I wish to make it known to you that zoning is not the issue in Anambra State. There has never been a time Anambra State agreed on zoning or a zoning formula. It is only when Anambra people come together through any manner and say this is what we want and which of the senatorial districts would start, then we address that issue and it takes off from there. Even those who are saying that it is their turn had contested with other zones in the past.

There is this insinuation that you have gone into a political marriage with an oil magnet also contesting for the governorship for the purpose of being his running mate. Is it true?

Nobody runs for the post of Deputy Governor. I cannot be spending all my time and resources, draining energy, creating all the awareness across the state in the name of becoming a deputy governor. I wish to reiterate that I have what it takes to manage the affairs of Anambra State creditably. Anybody telling you that I am going to become running mate to anybody or deputy to anybody is not saying the truth. I have heard it before and I see those stories as rumor and it does not hold water. I want to make it clear that I am running to win and I have the belief in God that I will win the election.

You have moved from the PDP to PPA and now to APGA. Some believe that you would soon return to PDP. Is it true?

I have no intention to join the PDP at anytime. I am a member of APGA and the party is dear to us and to me in particular. When you look at our party, APGA, you will discover that the party has done well in our state. This is through the instrumentality of our governor, Mr. Peter Obi. He has done so well and that is to the credit of APGA as a party. That is also the testimony that we are using as APGA. So we in APGA shall build on the foundation that he has laid to better Anambra State. So there is no point going to the Peoples Democratic Party when the APGA -led government has done well.

Like I said before, the leadership problem in APGA does not mean an end to the party. We have a National Chairman, Sir Victor Umeh and he remains that. One cannot because of the normal democratic developments in his or her party, join another party.

As a woman are you intimidated by the presence of many men in the contest?
I am contesting for the post of a governor to render service to my people. Any person  can render service to the people of Anambra State and it doesn’t matter if the person is a man or a woman. What matters is service to the people. I will like to adhere that being a woman is not an impediment at all.

Come to think of it, we are not going there to fight physically where you would say we need men. Again at my level and stage in politics, I am above such fear of intimidation by men. You should also know that I have passed that stage of intimidation in politics. I have spent close to eight years in the National Assembly and in the National Assembly we have about 360 members who are men and women of integrity. People experienced from all walks of life and we share ideas and rub minds on issues about our people and you feel that with such an experience any law maker cannot make a good governor? So it is not a man or woman thing. It is all about service to the people and it does not matter if the person at the helm of affairs is a man or a woman.

Naija Big Girl Kills Herself After Her Rich Facebook Lover Wed Her Friend Due To Her Fault..

Girl Issues 2
This is what you get these days when ladies only love men by what they can see; no true love again!
A big girl identified as Nkechi who hailed from Onitsha, Anambra State but settled in Asaba with her parents after graduation while searching for employment, got involved in Facebook Love at the centre where she was learning Computer.
Somehow she met a rich young man online, a Nigerian. The man decided to disguised himself as a ‘cripple’ to her whenever he arrive Nigeria, but he is actually a lawyer trained in the United Kingdom…
It was gathered that after series of chats, the ‘cripple’ asked for her hand in marriage and Nkechi immediately accepted, not knowing that the man will disguise as a cripple to test her. After their relationship which lasted about seven months online, the young lawyer, who was identified as Henry (surname withheld), returned to Nigeria on a wheelchair.
Nkechi, accompanied by her friend, went to the airport to welcome him, but was shocked to see him on a wheelchair and when he begged her to marry him, she refused.
According to reports, Nkechi continued to refuse his proposal, despite his pleas and a visit to her house. She also did not listen to her friend. Her friend, identified as Onyinye, a fashion boutique owner, living somewhere around Infant Jesus area of Asaba, was shocked at her friend’s decision after pleading with her to reconsider her “wheel chair” lover, but Nkechi refused.
Unfortunately for Nkechi, her friend Onyinye started feeling pity for Henry’s condition, not knowing that the man is not actually a cripple. Onyinye thus accepted to marry Henry since Nkechi has turned him down.
Consequently, we gathered that Henry went ahead to finalise wedding plans with Onyinye. They had the traditional marriage and white wedding last weekend in Asaba.
However, at the wedding reception, Henry got off his wheelchair to the amazement of all and told everyone present that he was never a ‘cripple,’ but had to disguise himself because he was hoping to get married to a Nigerian lady who would have genuine love for him, irrespective of his “condition”.
It was jubilation all the way and people started praising Onyinye for being a virtuous woman.
When the news got to Nkechi to her lover was actually not a cripple but just testing her, she collapsed.
Disillusioned 30-year-old Nkechi, a graduate of Micro-biology later committed suicide due to the shame that her finacee, who she met on Facebook, had gotten married to her best friend.
In her suicie note, Nkechi wrote:
“I have gone to rest as I cannot stand the situation after the house I built has collapsed. This is a lesson for single ladies; never reject any suitor, so that you don’t end up dead.”
The Police in Delta State confirmed Nkechi’s unfortunate action, her parents are said to be in shock.

Al-Mustapha discharged and acquitted by Lagos Court of Appeal

The former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, was today discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal in Lagos for the murder of Kudirat Abiola.

The judgment overturns that of the Lagos High Court which convicted and sentenced the retired colonel in January 2012 and sentenced him to death by hanging. The Court of Appeal, in their ruling, said there was not enough evidence to incriminate Al-Mustapha in the murder of Late Mrs Abiola.

Chief  MKO Abiola's wife was shot dead on June 4, 1996, on what was alleged to be the orders of Al-Mustapha.

Obi, Orji Commend the Opening of Nigerian Consulate in Guangzhou, China

Gov. Peter Obi and his Abia State counterpart, Theodore Orji have commended the opening of Nigerian Consulate in Guangzhou, China, describing it as apt and strategic decision that would assist Nigerians living in that part of China, which, according to them, is where most Nigerians, especially the gregorian Igbos live and do business. They said this yesterday in Beijing while speaking to the press, during the meeting of Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan with the Nigerian community in China at the Embassy in Beijing as part of the President's state visit to the country. Gov. Peter Obi was part of his delegation as well as Gov. Theodore Orji.

Gov. Obi who decried the number of our people running into trouble in China, called on them to be good Ambassadors of Nigeria and help in marketing the positive attributes of the country in line with President Jonathan's vision of transforming the country, both economically and in value reorientation. He expressed optimism that the new Consulate will help Nigerians in China in many ways, including facilitating the movement of Chinese people who are interested in investing in Nigeria. Obi encouraged them to market Nigeria, including the South-East as investment destination, housing the biggest market in Nigeria and inhabited by highly entrepreneurial people.

Obi was joined by his Abia state counterpart in inviting our people in China to think home always by partnering with serious investors for the development of Nigeria, especially through foreign direct investment and the contributions of ideas for the development of the country.

In his own remarks, the leader of Anambra people in China, Mr. Anthony Okafor , who said he was in Anambra State a few weeks ago to make donation to the people affected by the last year flood disaster on behalf of Anambra people resident in China, said he was impressed by the development at home. He said that he had briefed the people of tremendous development taking place in all sectors: roads, health, education, industrialization, among others and that they now appreciate the need of assisting a Government that was focused on providing the needs of the people.

With both Governors for the trip are president General of South-East Traders, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo; his Vice, Chief Gozie Akudolu and President, Aba Chambers of Commerce, Chief Eleanya Okoroj
