I must appreciate his excellency Gov. Peter Obi
Eleventh hour gift! We can't be deceived again!
(Great loss if APGA looses him and a shadow chances to retain Anambra come 2014)
I must appreciate his excellency Gov. Peter Obi for his late
announcement of revolution in Education sector in our great state
Anambra.
I also held it in highest esteem the kind gifts to our dear Traditional Rulers.
BUT!!! YOU MUST NOT TRAVEL WITH THAT CAR TO LAGOS WITHOUT PERMISSION, ELSE!
At the time of writing, information reported that few traditional rulers loyal to Ifeanyi Ubah do not receive any car
The eleventh hour wake up responsibilities may seem to be flashy. Our
dear state has witnessed setbacks in several areas for inappropriate
utilisation of our state funds. However, one might also perceive that
this flashy action of eleventh hour is romantically channelled to
upcoming general election.
I urge our traditional rulers to
please accept the kind gift but remember it is this same man who
threaded the line when they attended the wedding of sister to Dr.
Ifeanyi P. Ubah is now offering them gift and have urged them to support
any candidate he might be presenting.
I want to assure
everyone that politics in Anambra state has pass the level that one will
blind fold our eyes with eleventh hour gifts to forget all the wrong
one has done since the past Eight years.
We have only one candidate with all it takes to handle Anambra State at this stage of life.
WHO AMONG THE LIVING WILL EAT THE SAME FOOD EVERY DAY OF HIS/HER LIFE.
WE NEED CHANGE IN GOVERNANCE, WE NEED NEWER HAND, YOUNGER PEOPLE, NOT
SAME OLD CORRUPT FACES!
My people, a young gentle man with a
heart of human, who feels your challenges down to heart is nobody but
Ifeanyi P. Ubah. Your hope and trust in government will be fully
restored.
It will be very bad if we are not wise enough to visualise the future this young man has for us the people of Anambra State!
DO NOT SELL YOUR VOTE THIS TIME BECAUSE OF ELEVENTH HOUR GIFTS.
Get inside your room think what has been your own benefit since Gov.
Obi assumed office, what has the future unfold for your young boys and
girls. Now is time to make a U TURN and say NO to political no vision
set of people who will emerge again to govern Anambra State.
I
will unfold to you every secret peace planned talk and how it is meant
to rob Ifeanyi Ubah the long awaited ticket. Stay tuned as they has
done everything humanly possible to stop him from contesting starting
from his business angle now down to PEACE TALK. It will be a great loss
if APGA failed to fill in the right candidate come next election.
But remember whatever God has written cannot be changed! Our aspiration
is not a do or die affair because what we can deliver will enormously
surpass what this govt has done.
USE YOUR VOTE TO CAST IN THE CHANGE.
If I may ask, why has Gov. Peter Obi sworn that Dr. Ifeanyi P. Ubah will never become his successor?
Is he afraid of going to jail? No we cannot send you to jail for improper use of our state fund is a PROMISE.
JUST ALLOW PEOPLE'S VOTE TO COUNT...

Man kills ‘unfaithful’ wife, attempts suicide
The
Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old man, Daniel
Kanjo, for allegedly killing his 24-year-old wife, Meno Kanjo, in
Elemoro, Ajah area of the state. According to police investigations,
Daniel stabbed his wife to death after catching her making love to
another man in a bush near their home. According to a police source at
Elemoro Divison, after stabbing his wife many times, the suspect also
stabbed himself in the stomach and in the neck. The suspect and the wife
were thought to be dead, forcing the residents to call the police to
evacuate the corpses As policemen were packing the corpses to the
mortuary, Daniel was, however, discovered to be breathing and was
immediately rushed to the hospital.
The suspect, who had been discharged, told PUNCH Metro that
the incident was the work of the devil. He said he loved his wife dearly
and never hit her prior to the incident, adding that when he caught her
red-handed committing adultery, he lost control. He said, “I am from
Benin Republic but I have been living in Nigeria since 2001. I have two
wives. My first wife has six children for me. However in 2010, I got
married to Meno (the deceased) and we have a one-year-old child
together. “I am a bricklayer by vocation and I have never denied Meno of
anything, even though she was a hairdresser and was making money. I was
also faithful to her and showed her love.” Narrating what transpired on
the fateful day, the suspect said he came back from work in the
afternoon and needed to collect something from the deceased. He said as he was looking for her in the house, he was drawn by sounds emanating from a nearby bush. He said, “When I heard the sound coming from the bush, I moved near and saw my wife having sex with a strange man. As I moved closer, the man saw me and ran away. But I was able to grab my wife and I gave her the beating of her life. “I did not know what came over me, but I took a knife and stabbed her all over her body. Before I realised what happened, the devil also pushed me to stab myself. I stabbed myself in the stomach and also slit my throat.” Daniel said some of his neighbours, who were drawn by the noise, started beating him up when they saw his wife on the ground. He said, “After stabbing myself, I was still moving on the floor although I was weak.
Some people came around and started beating me, saying that I must die too since I had killed my wife. They beat me up and took photographs. When I woke up, I found myself in the hospital.” The suspect urged the police to release him as he was not himself when he was committing the crime. He said if he was sent to prison, his children would suffer. He said, “My first born is 13 years old while my youngest child is a year old. I pay their school fees and I am responsible for their upkeep. If I am sent to prison, they will all suffer.” The Deputy Police Public Relations Officer for the state command, Damasus Ozoani, said the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.”

Obi Says Anambra will Witness a Revolution * Doles out Billions to Schools and Vehicles to Traditional Rulers
Gov. Obi said what would happen to Anambra State by the end of the year
would be revolutionary by all accounts and that all sectors would
benefit. He said this today at the Women Development Centre Awka, during
The Town Hall meeting at which he explained to critical
stakeholders- traditional rulers Presidents General of towns, Religious
leaders, among others - how the Government intend to carry out
comprehensive rehabilitation of 253 Government owned secondary schools
in the State. This follows the rehabilitation of the schools already
handed over to the Churches by the Government.
The Governor who
at the event flagged-off the distribution of the 10 million Naira, a
total of 2.53 Billion Naira to Principals of those Secondary schools,
said it represented the first phase of the exercise. He explain the
delay on the need to set up a monitoring group for proper deployment of
the money and warned that any Principal who would be found wanting would
be dealt with accordingly.
Besides, the cheques, the Governor
said that the EXCO had just approved the sum of 6.5 Billion Naira for
school in the State assuring that by the end of the year, all the
schools in the state would get school buses, Microsoft Academy,
computers to schools according to their population to the average of 1
computer to 10 students ( including primary schools), Laboratory
equipment, Sports equipment and various learning materials. He said he
was paying INTERNET, Microsoft and other subscriptions for 3 years to
allow the person coming after him the latitude for settling down.
Charging the principals to be on guard, the Governor who continued
apologizing for take over of schools, appealed to them to emulate the
Church, who are doing commendably with the money similarly given to
them.
On another development, the Governor today presented 200
SUV vehicles to all the traditional rulers in the State. He said the
vehicles which were completely free from any charges, was in recognition
of the pivotal roles of traditional rulers in the State and the need to
endure they work in relative comfort for the good and progress of the
State.
He said the choice of INNOSON manufactured vehicles is
to tell Nigerians that with a Motor manufacturing company in the State,
they need not search elsewhere. He said that the State Government has
unofficially adopted INNOSON vehicles as the State brand and revealed
that the next set of official vehicles he would use would be bought from INNOSON and called on Nigerians to be proud of their own.
On the source of finance for the projects, the Governor said it was
mainly from the money he attracted to the State. Using the education
sector as an example, he said that the budget was 3 Billion Naira, but
that by the end of the year, 13 Billion Naira would have been spent.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Anambra Traditional Rulers Council, Obi
Alfred Achebe, described what the State is witnessing under Obi as
unprecedented. He said he was particularly thrilled not by the vehicles,
but by the revolution in schools which he noted, would be for the
benefit of the children of the State. He assured the support of
traditional rulers for what he described as renaissance of learning
taking place in the State.
In his own remarks, the traditional
ruler of Umuoji, Igwe Cyril Iwueze thanked the Governor for his
attention to all sectors. Agreeing that what is taking place in the
State was a revolution , he said that after witnessing billions given to
the Church to rehabilitate schools handed over to them, that it was
encouraging witnessing the extension of the same gesture to public
schools in the State.
